Bronchial Asthma and Ayurvedic management




Bronchial Asthma occurs due to the violation of vata and kapha doshas.

 It manifests as repeated episodes of breathlessness and a feeling of tightness in the chest resulting from narrowing of the airway. 


Do's:

1. Intake of Godhuma, Old Rice, Mudga, Kulatha, Yava and Patola.

2. Usage of Garlic, Tumeric, Ginger, Black pepper.

3. Intake of Luke warm water, Goat milk and Honey are beneficial.

4. Respiratory exercises, Pranayama and Yoga.



Don'ts:


1. Fish, heavy diet, masha, fried items, mustard leaves are not advised.

2. Cold & humid atmosphere, smoke, dust and fumes are advised to be avoided.

3 .Sweets, chilled water, stored food items and curd are not suitable.

4. Suppression of natural urges to be avoided.

5. Excessive physical exertion to be avoided.

6.Exposure to dust, pollutants, pollens, fumes, smoke and cold are to be avoided.
