Digestive troubles and ayurvedic solutions

According to Ayurveda, people with vata constitution often suffer from constipation. 
They would need to lubricate the digestive tract with warm food, oil, ghee and grains.
 
Here are some tips from Ayurvedic principles: 

1. Intake of Godhuma (Wheat), Mudga (green gram), old rice, garlic, seasonal fruits, diet of high fiber content, hingu, draksha, amla, black pepper, ginger, green leafy vegetables is recommended. 

2. Consumption of lukewarm water is beneficial.

3. Physical exercise like walking, swimming and meditation is advised. 

4. Irregular food habits, heavy and unwholesome,oily, spicy food items to be avoided. 

5. Bakery and stored food items are not recommended. 

6. Sleep disturbances, worries, anxiety and depression should be avoided.
